President's Welcome

Greetings and welcome to the official website of Alpha Beta Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. I am honored and excited to serve as the Chapter President, continuing the rich legacy of service and sisterhood.

Chartered in Richmond County (Staten Island) on June 12, 2022, our chapter is proud to be located in the Notable North Atlantic Region under the leadership of our Regional Director, Elicia Pegues Spearman. We remain committed to upholding the Sorority’s International program theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, under the visionary leadership of our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed. This program centers around five key initiatives: Strengthening Our Sisterhood, Empowering Our Families, Building Our Economic Wealth, Enhancing Our Environment, and Advocating for Social Justice.

As we work to implement these initiatives and create impactful programs aligned with these five initiatives, we strive to uplift families, nurture economic empowerment, protect our environment, and advocate for positive social change all while strengthening our bonds of sisterhood.I am guided by my personal vision to Lead with S.O.U.L.—Strength, Opportunity, Unity, and Leadership. By embracing these guiding principles, we will continue to uplift our communities, support one another, and enhance the overall impact of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
